Diamond/GaInSn composites
Diamond/GaInSn composites are emerging as advanced thermal interface materials that combine the ultra-high thermal conductivity of diamond with the excellent wettability and conformability of the liquid metal alloy GaInSn. Diamond provides a thermally conductive, mechanically robust framework, while GaInSn fills interfacial gaps, significantly reducing contact resistance and enhancing heat transfer across heterogeneous surfaces. The liquid nature of GaInSn also enables self-adaptive contact under low pressure, making these composites particularly attractive for high-power electronics and next-generation thermal management applications where efficient heat dissipation is critical.
